Welcome to Liberation! This is an Aya Brea character study site. It features the comparison of Parasite Eve's leading lady versus the Epic Hero Monomyth. This study is meant to dive into Aya's character as a protagonist and analyze her journey and those around her. This site does not prove that Aya is or is not an epic hero. It merely relates her journey based on a formula proposed by Joseph Campbell.

The setup of the site seems a little intimidating, if not a little confusing at first. You are currently on the Home page. If you'd like more detail you can have your questions answered on the about page. I have broken the hero's monomyth into three sections, departure, initiation, and return. Information about the characters that support and hinder Aya can be found in archetypes while her unique abilites can be found in traits. The epic triad compares Aya, Eve, and Mitochondria as being balanced with each other. The treasure page features Aya related goodies (like icons and bookmarks).
